A: Absolutely! I am a professional storyteller specialising in both film and digital photography. My approach is centred around capturing the beautiful intimacy shared between couples and their loved ones, while allowing them the freedom to celebrate authentically on their wedding day. I strive to document each and every moment, from their own straight-out-of-vogue fashion moments to the intimate romantic interactions that make their love story unique.
Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your approach as an editorial and film wedding photographer?
A: My deep passion for fashion and eye for exquisite details naturally draw me to editorial weddings. One of my favourite aspects is capturing detail flat-lay shots during the bridal getting ready process, as it allows me to showcase the carefully chosen attire, curated decor, and beautiful florals. I find great joy in capturing stylish and artistic photos that reflect the couple's unique aesthetic, creating a visual narrative that feels like a true work of art.
Q: What draws you to editorial weddings?
A: My goal is to make couples feel safe, relaxed, and free to be their most authentic selves in front of the camera. I steer away from stiff posing and instead provide ample time for them to get comfortable. By engaging them in activities they enjoy together, I create an environment that encourages genuine connections and captures real moments.

A: Film photography is my ultimate creative outlet. Unlike the digital era where we capture thousands of images per wedding, the limited number of shots per roll of film pushes me to wait for the perfect moment. This process enhances my skills as a photographer, allowing me to anticipate and capture both quiet romantic moments and show-stopping editorial vogue shots. The unique "vibe" that film photos possess, with their perfect blend of grain, colour, and nostalgic essence, creates a storytelling quality that cannot be replicated in digital images. It's truly like no other medium.
Q: What is it about film photography that you love so much?
A: It has taken me over 5 years to perfect my film photography skills, and I am grateful that I never gave up halfway. While film may seem archaic and roundabout in this fast-paced world, it actually slows me down and forces me to be intentional with my art. Every time I get my film developed, I am filled with anticipation and joy. I find myself treasuring those limited number of film shots more than the thousands of digital photos I took on any given day.

A: I believe there is a place for both film and digital photography in my artistic process. While analogue film may not offer the same level of guaranteed results, its unique qualities and storytelling capability are unmatched. To ensure the best of both worlds, I have developed a style that seamlessly blends the two mediums. I strategically use digital photography for certain aspects, such as capturing fast-paced moments or ensuring technical precision, while reserving film for those special, soulful shots that exude a timeless charm. This blend allows me to create a diverse and captivating collection of images that truly represent the essence of your love story.
